As the northern gateway to Sarasota, the Indian Beach and Sapphire Shores neighborhoods are rich in local history and a great place to just hang out. Buttressed on the north and south by The Ringling Museum and the Ringling College of Art and Design, respectively, the area buzzes with an artistic vibe and has plenty of places to soak it up, along with some really fine original restaurants, international cuisine, and venues for relaxing.
